Adeyinka Oyekan II (June 30, 1911 – March 1, 2003) was Oba of Lagos from 1965 to 2003. He was the grandson of Oba Oyekan I.
Early Life and Training
Adeyinka’s father was a Methodist trainer, Prince Kusanu Abiola Oyekan.Adeyinka Oyekan attended the Methodist Boys High School and King’s College, Lagos earlier than studying Pharmacy at Yaba College of Higher Education. A religious Christian, he became a member of the Tinubu Methodist Church and previous Sunday School instructor.
Career
After graduating from Yaba Higher College, Adeyinka turned into hired at General Hospital, Lagos in 1933.
