Algeria is currently carrying out a project, building a 5,000km road that will link 6 African countries together. It is one of the biggest projects in Africa and the road is called the African Unity road.
The road starts from Algeria and connects to Tunisia, Mauritania, Mali, Niger, Nigeria and Chad.
This project will improve transport and deliver high speed internet across the continent. The idea was conceived over 50 years ago and it is now coming to fruition.
This project will bring both economic and social benefits to the whole population and it is now nearing completion.
The road has been lined with thousands of Kilometers of cables as part of another multinational project.
