Nigerian Super Falcons Star, Asisat Oshoala received the Pichichi award for 2021/22 Spain Primera Division Women Top Scorer.

The top goal scorer of each Spanish Primera Division Women League Season is awarded Pichichi winners by the sports newspaper, Marca in the Spanish football.

In August 2022, Asisat Oshoala, who was a former Rivers Angels forward became the first African woman to be nominated for the Ballon d’Or Feminin.

She has been recorded as the sole holder for most awards the CAF Women’s footballer of the year has won, which records five times.

More accolades to Asisat Oshoala as she has added another feat to her name, the Pichichi awards, a recognition for her exceptional efforts.
