The National Authority Managing Morocco’s expressways and Morocco’s state-owned National Highway Company, Societe Nationale des Autoroutes du Maroc (ADM) expects its yearly turnover to reach MAD 3.5 billion ($333 million) at the end of 2023, with a 3.7% annual rise.
The figure was announced on Monday by the ADM while holding a board meeting to approve the 2023 State Budget as stated in the report by Morocco’s Press Agency (MAP).
The statement also included that ADM is set to allocate MAD 522 million ($49.7 million) to infrastructure repair operations with the help of Moroccan companies.
ADM is also allocating MAD 1.7 billion ($161.8) to boost the capacity of the highway linking Rabat and Berrechid, and is presently working to add more lanes to the Casablanca-Berrechid highway, as well as the Casablanca bypass and Tit Mellil-Berrechid highway.
The Moroccan Transport Ministry has further announced its plans to build an additional 3570 expressways and 2210 kilometers of highway by 2020 costing $9.6 billion.
