The 14th edition of the forthcoming New Year’s East African Party (EAP) will have a lineup of 12 local artistes scheduled to hold on January 1st at the BK Arena, to entertain Kigalians and making it the first time to take place without a foreign headliner.
During a press conference, Joseph Mushyoma, the East African Promoters’ (EAP), CEO, shared that they were looking at using Rwandan artistes lineup because they believe that it was time to give credit to their creativity in music.
Joseph said that artistes would get to perform on merit and their music will speak for them. He added that the coming editions of the event will only have Rwandan artistes whose work has made outstanding progress throughout the year.
The first edition of the East African Party was held in 2008 and has subsequently been the most anticipated yearly event. The event has hosted a variety of African artistes whose fans always look forward to seeing their performance.
Bruce Melodie, Riderman, Alyn Sano, King James, Platini, Davis D, Nel Ngabo, Ariel Wayz, Ish Kevin, Niyi Bosco, Okkama, and Afrique are the artistes to headline the 14th edition of the East African Party.
