Mustapha attended the University of Maiduguri, he however, dropped out when he was in 300 level because he had no interest in the major the University offered him. He is from Borno state.
Currently, Mustapha is making waves and realizing his world as he embarks on a journey of manufacturing electric vehicles. He converts buses with petrol engines into solar-powered electric vehicles.
Gajibo builds eclectic cars, tricycles, and generators with local manpower, using his innovative skills in renewable energy.
He started building electric cars in 2017 and has attracted the attention of many people, including the Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum who presented him with five mini-buses and 20 million Naira cash.
Recently, Mustapha Gajibo launched an assembly factory in Abuja to produce 2000 units of electric vehicles. He named the vehicles “kaande”.
He said “our Abuja major factory has commenced operations with manufacturing of the “Kaande” model, the factory is set to produce 2000 units of this model in the first year”
