The theme of the conference is “Making Africa Work for Africans: Collaborations and Partnerships”.
A pan-African leadership organization known as BCA Leadership is set to host the 5th edition of its annual ‘Made in Africa Conference’ in Ghana for the first time.
BCA Leadership is a pan-African CEO leadership organization that is purposed to help companies’ leaders become better leaders, benefiting their organizations and employees.
African company owners and executives, Chief Executive Officers and their Direct Reports, Managing Directors, Board Executives, and Public Sector Leaders usually gather for the annual conference.
This year’s conference will be held on the 14th and 15th of June, in Accra, Ghana. Since its inception, the inaugural edition was hosted in Kigali, Rwanda, the second and third editions were virtual, while the fourth edition took place in Zambia last year.
Held under the theme “Making Africa Work for Africans: Collaborations and Partnerships”, the two-day event is geared toward inspiring and supporting leadership development amongst African leaders.
The conference also aims at promoting intra-Africa trade and collaboration, as well as boosting productivity and production of goods and services in Africa.
BCA Leadership’s CEO, Dr. Modupe Taylor-Pearce said that now was the time for African leaders to unify and fight for the greater welfare of the African continent. He stated this while pointing out the need for a learning conference such as MLC for African leaders.
The MLC learning program is for civil service leaders and elected officials, small business owners and corporate leaders, community leaders, and NGO leaders. According to Dr Modupe, this class of people share one common interest which is impacting the lives of others.
