The Geat complex, a partnership between the Algerian company Sonelgaz and the American General Electric, has exported the first shipment of gas and steam turbines abroad to Iraq for a total value of approximately 112 million dollars.
This was reported by the information website “Attaqa”, citing its sources, according to which the Algerian gas turbines exported to Iraq operate with high efficiency, as the company has not recorded any comments or reservations from the buyers, especially since the production of these turbines takes into account the smallest details and internationally applicable standards.
According to the same sources, the complex is preparing to export shipments of other similar gas turbines and is negotiating with a group of potential customers, mainly in several African countries to supply them with this type of equipment.
