There is an arresting statement made by a Rabbi centuries ago:

“No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new;

         for he saith. ‘The old is better.’ “

The benefit of hindsight is overwhelming in the light of how we view things differently through the prism of experience. Since stardom  if not humbly managed sometimes dims a star, it becomes rather imperative to glide carefully through life.

It is no longer news that Caroline Danjuma, Nollywood chic actress and her erstwhile hubby, Musa Danjuma, younger sibling to Theophilus Danjuma, parted ways after their nearly-a-decade-long marriage met with severe reverses from divorce, the modern-day monster bedeviling many a matrimony.

The screen goddess granted an interview to Innih Emah, media personality, where she, among other things, unequivocally admitted that she was the worse for lack of experience. What would seem to be a tempestuous approach at the time would have been differently treated had she been this armed with experience.

She had reportedly been married to Musa Danjuma  who, in 2016, due to “irreconcilable differences,” got divorced. Her position as at press time on her botched marriage visibly showed her lamentation:

“They were just irreconcilable differences that if I was of this age and the experience I have now, I think I would have handled it better.

“… He (Musa) is the father of my three children. He is the one I said, ‘You know what? This man is worth being my husband.’ So, yes, he would always remain the love of my life and that would not change.”

On whether she’d love to remarry, the embattled divorcee submitted, “I’d love to marry again whether it’s my ex-husband or a new amazing man that God sent. … Yes, I would like to go back to him [my ex-husband or if God says, ‘This is the man you’re going to marry.’

“ I just want peace of mind and happiness, “ she continued. “As I get older, I just want someone that I can build with and I can have peace of mind with. Peace of mind is more valuable than money, “ she observed.
