Recently, a group of fishermen from Ghana have gained notice for their grand project—building a contemporary version of Noah’s Ark.

The structure is still under construction, but a video making the rounds on social media makes clear just how big it is.

Amazingly, the builders use hand labor and crude instruments like hammers to realize their design. The project gains a distinctive feature from the hands-on approach, which also highlights the commitment of the individuals engaged.

Given that the precise proportions are still unknown, it is unclear if the modern ark and the mythical and religious ark have the same dimensions.

As stated in Genesis 6:15 (New International Version) of the Bible, “This is how you are to build it: The ark is to be three hundred cubits long, fifty cubits wide, and thirty cubits high.”

As the development continues, additional information about this intriguing project might become available.

A video showing the process of building the ark was posted on Twitter, now X via a Twitter handle named @SIKAOFFICIAL1. The handler is a Blogger, News, Stories, and Content Distributor,  Netpreneur.

The video garnered many positive but funny responses from the Twitter community.
