The tale of sleeping beauty is one of the most-loved classical ballets. It is the tale of a beautiful princess who pricked her finger on her sixteenth birthday and slept under a spell for a hundred years to be awakened by a princely kiss bestowed with true love. This famous tale has long captured the world and has been acted out and recreated many times.

The Cairo Opera House in Egypt contracted the Russian Moscow Ballet, also in participation will be the stars of the Bolshoi and Mariinsky theatres, to present the famous ballet, The Sleeping Beauty by the international musician, Tchaikovsky.

The performances are scheduled to be held from the 22nd of February till the 24th of February. It will start at 8 pm at the Grand Theater.

Russia is famously known for its ballet skills, it is one of the top countries in the world in the art of ballet. It started when Tsarina Anna brought the most famous ballet trainer at that time from France and opened the first specialized school in the city of Saint Petersburg for him in 1735.
