Liberian footballer, Darius Bestman a Lone Star Under-20 defender has started training with Swedish top club Bollklubben Hacken popularly known as BK Hacken, in Gothenburg.

In early November, the Under-20 defender left Liberia to seek greener pasture and got the opportunity to train with the Swedish professional football club.

On his arrival to Sweden, Bestman was warmly and gladly received by the officials of BK Hacken. According to footage, he was very impressive in his first training session.

The Lone Star currently plays for LFA second division side Garderville FC and hopes to convince the Swedish side to sign him through his training performance.

The effort of a former Liberian-International midfielder, Dulee Johnson to give talented Liberian players opportunities to achieve their dream was not a futile one, as it resulted in the departure of Bestman.

Under the Johnson One Goal Agency, the former midfielder is working with other Liberians and international partners to give Liberian players opportunities in football.

Four players are expected to leave Liberia – Divine Teah and Mohammed Fofana will be joining Bestman in BK Hacken, and Festus Blapoh will be going to Newroz FC in Sweden as well.

Dulee Johnson expressed his gratitude to the Swedish Embassy in Monrovia for helping in the visa process for the players.

He however urged football clubs to cooperate with him so as to have a smooth movement of players to Europe.
