Tourism Seychelles, the marketing division of the Tourism Department, said on Tuesday that Seychelles had earned the title of World’s Most Romantic Destination for the fourth year at the 30th World Travel Awards 2023.

This year’s event was held at Dubai’s renowned Burj Al Arab on December 1.

Bernadette Willemin, Director General of Destination Marketing, commended the partners for their steadfast dedication to providing outstanding service.  

“Truly Another World, Seychelles calls for escapism in romance. Our small paradise, where blue waters whisper love stories and a soft breeze conveys a romantic tune.  It is without a doubt that whoever experiences the destination would uncover the chapters of their love story,” Willemin. 

The recognition is evidence of the Seychelles’ lasting attractiveness as a romantic retreat.

Tourism Seychelles stated that “renowned as a paradisaical haven for romance, the archipelago’s natural splendor provides a tranquil and picturesque backdrop for couples yearning to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.”

The beautiful beaches, surrounded by swaying palms and lapped by glistening turquoise waters, are perfect for picnics, romantic strolls, and strolls at dusk, it continued. Seychelles offers plenty of options for couples to enjoy intimate moments together, be it in a secluded cove or on a crowded beach.”

Seychelles has lush scenery, a visual feast, and gorgeous beaches.

Visits to the national parks, botanical gardens, and wildlife reserves within the archipelago situated in the western Indian Ocean are ideal for couples. A trek through the Vallée de Mai Nature Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you may observe the rare coco de mer palm, the largest nut in the world that is native to the Seychelles, and see unusual bird species.
