Borussia’s forward, Youssoufa Moukoko got a surprise call up from Germany’s coach, Hansi Flick to play for Germany in the 2022 World cup in Qatar.

Youssoufa Moukoko plays as a striker for Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund and has scored six times in the Bundesliga this season.

This call up has come as a surprise in the football world when Hansi Flick announced his 26-man squad, even though really talented, Moukoko is a very young player. He was born on the 20th of November, 2004.

Cameroon already picked out their 26-man squad which did not include Moukoko.

The 17-year old was picked following the absence of Timo Werner due to his injury.

Youssoufa Moukoko will be known as the youngest player to be in the World cup.
