Rwanda’s Kenza Ameloot Shines as Miss Belgium 2024.


On Saturday, February 24 at the grand finale of the Miss Belgium beauty pageant, Rwandan-Belgian model Kenza Johanna Ameloot was crowned Miss Belgium 2024 which took place at the Proximus Theater.

Julie Mortier and Estelle Toulemonde took first and second runner-up places in a competition that had thirty-two competitors competing for the prestigious title that acts as a gateway to Miss Universe. Arwen Van Gucht and Marie Rousseaux both earned places in the top 5.

After Emilie Vansteenkiste was crowned Miss België and Miss Universe Belgium 2023, the 22-year-old became victorious in the tournament.

Ameloot was born to a Belgian father and a Rwandan mother, and she works as a professional model while studying international business.

The beauty queen named Rwanda as her favorite place to travel, especially on vacations, in a recent interview with Isimbi TV.

She also noted that she was working on a project that aimed to help Belgian students who are having difficulties finishing their education get back into the classroom.

Ameloot succeeds Sonia Rolland, the 2000 Miss France winner, as the second Rwandan to win a major beauty contest.

Born to a Belgian father and a Rwandan mother, Kenza Ameloot is a Belgian model who hails from Sint-Amandsberg, East Flanders. The stunning beauty queen is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in international business.

On winning the national crown, Kenza took to her official social media as she wrote, “I am super proud and extremely grateful that I get the opportunity to make a difference as Miss. I am very proud and grateful that I have this opportunity to invest as Miss. I am beyond proud and grateful for receiving this chance to mean something as a Miss.”
